Immigration Agency to Require Body Cameras After Two Fatal Shootings Went Uncaptured
ICE — the agency enforcing U.S. immigration laws — will require officers to record traffic stops on body cameras nationwide within 60 days, border official Tom Homan said July 19. This follows two fatal shootings during July traffic stops in Houston and Biddeford, Maine, neither filmed. Both men killed were not the intended targets. Cameras are purchased; trainers are being prepared.
