
Minecraft: Java Edition Now Runs Natively on Linux's Wayland Display System
Mojang's July 16 snapshot 26w3a rebuilds Minecraft: Java Edition's display and input handling, giving Linux players native Wayland support for the first time. The game now prefers Wayland, defaults to a borderless fullscreen mode, and removes an older fullscreen option on Mac. Known crashes affect certain fullscreen setups on Windows multi-monitor and Wayland.
