Sonos Starts Over After App Disaster

Sonos has announced Sonos 27, a full rebuild of the system running its speakers. CEO Tom Conrad says the new platform will keep future products and software updates working together. This follows a 2024 app redesign that frustrated customers and cost the previous CEO his job. Conrad wants the platform itself to be the reliability guarantee.
