On 3 September, Kemi Badenoch said welfare cuts could fund defence. She backed the two-child benefit limit and taxing disability cars. But Rachel Reeves already taxed most new disability cars last year — the first such change in 50 years. Several of Badenoch's proposed savings may raise less than her party suggests.
