Google Maps changes Lake Ontario's name for US users

Google Maps now shows Lake America instead of Lake Ontario for people in the US, after President Trump ordered the name change on August 27. People in Canada still see the old name. People elsewhere see both. Google said it follows official government sources. Apple Maps has not changed. The dispute has worsened trade tensions between the US and Canada.
