Google Maps relabels Lake Ontario as "Lake America" for US users following executive order

Google Maps now displays "Lake America" for US users after President Trump's August 27 executive order renaming Lake Ontario. Canadian users still see "Lake Ontario"; international users see both. Google cited its policy of deferring to official government sources. Apple Maps has not yet updated. The renaming has escalated Trump's trade war with Canada.
