
Australia May Let People Turn Off Social Media Suggestions After Misogyny Finding
Australia may let social media users turn off the automatic feeds that suggest posts to them, as part of its plan against family violence. Social Services Minister Tanya Plibersek cited data showing a new account set up as a young boy takes just 23 minutes to be shown hateful, violent content about women. The government is working with advocacy group Teach Us Consent on the design.
