LAPD changes its story after releasing video of man who died in jail

Jose Carlos Hoyoz-Munoz, 58, died in a Van Nuys jail cell on 15 July. The LAPD first said officers used force twice. After releasing body-camera video on 29 August, the department changed that to three. The footage shows officers repeatedly holding down the handcuffed man over several hours before he was found not breathing.
