China Stops Tibet Flood Rescue as Barrier Lake Overflows

China stopped rescue efforts in Tibet's worst flood zone after a lake formed by piled-up debris began overflowing. State TV said teams were told to wait and earlier units pulled back one kilometre. Water levels should peak around Tuesday, risking more flooding downstream, including at Gyirong Port. Nepal's death toll has reached 469, with over 1,300 missing.
