Meta's Smart Glasses Now Stop Recording If You Cover the Warning Light

Meta's smart glasses now shut off the camera if someone covers the small warning light that tells people they are being recorded. VP Alex Himel announced the update on Threads. A July update blocked tampering; this fix also covers using a finger or tape. Meta is running billboard ads so bystanders learn that a blinking light means recording.
