Labour promises no fuel tax increase if re-elected

Labour leader Chris Hipkins says his party will not raise fuel tax if re-elected for a full three-year term. The tax on petrol is due to go up 12 cents a litre from January, but ministers must sign that off by 31 August. Transport Minister Chris Bishop called the promise "irresponsible."
