Sudden Floods Kill at Least 157 on Nepal-Tibet Border; Tourists Among the Missing

Sudden floods along the Nepal-Tibet border have killed at least 157 people, washing away roads, bridges, and power plants. Hundreds of foreign tourists from six countries — Australia, the UK, the US, Canada, Ireland, and Singapore — are missing in Nepal's Rasuwa valley. A tour operator who flew over the area doubts his group of 47 survived. Roads are still blocked, so helicopters are the only way to search.
