New GPS tracking to keep serious offenders out of wider areas from October

From October, serious violent and sexual offenders living in the community after prison must stay within a small area tracked by GPS satellite. If they leave it, they can be sent back to jail. Current rules only ban them from specific places. Each plan is shaped to the individual and drawn up with victims.
