Zoo Snake Gets New Cancer Treatment — A First

A 15-foot snake named Jodie Foster at Chester Zoo is believed to be the first snake treated with a cancer method called electrochemotherapy. It pairs a cancer drug with small electric pulses that help the drug enter tumour cells. The 90-minute treatment targeted jaw cancer that came back after surgery. Months later, she is cancer-free and "back to her usual bright and feisty self."
