Hong Kong Court Convicts Tiananmen Vigil Leaders Under Security Law

A Hong Kong court found Lee Cheuk-yan, 69, and Chow Hang-tung, 41, guilty of urging rebellion against the state for organizing Tiananmen memorial vigils — events held before a 2020 security law existed. The same vigils led to earlier convictions. Both face up to ten years in prison. Sentencing is pending.
