PM acts to keep PC Harper killers in prison longer
The prime minister has made more prisoners ineligible for early release after pressure from victims' families, the BBC reported. Andy Burnham said he was "confident" the killers of PC Andrew Harper, dragged to death in Berkshire in 2019, could now be kept behind bars longer. He said he had "wanted to go even further" but could not. This applies to England and Wales only.
