Sony's Plan for 10 Ongoing Online Games Stalls as Several Get Cancelled

Sony wanted ten ongoing online games shipped by March 2026. The count is falling short. Naughty Dog cancelled a Last of Us online game, Sony shut down Concord and its studio Firewalk, and Bungie stopped active work on Destiny 2 on June 9. Guerrilla Games is now removing online features from Horizon Hunters Gathering after poor playtest feedback, leaving PlayStation with little room for error.
