$106m spent on advice for new Auckland harbour crossing as Government orders yet another report

More than $106 million has gone to consultants and contractors for a second Auckland harbour crossing, Transport Minister Chris Bishop confirmed. The Government wants another report, due next year, to work out the details before committing to build. Bishop told RNZ earlier reports explained why a crossing is needed; the new one must show how to do it. Cabinet will decide what to build and how to pay for it in 2027.
