$106m spent on Auckland harbour crossing advice as Government commissions another report

More than $106 million has gone to consultants and contractors for Auckland's second Waitematā Harbour crossing, Transport Minister Chris Bishop has confirmed. The Government will commission a detailed business case, due next year, before committing to construction. Bishop told RNZ previous reports answered the "why" and the new work needs to answer the "how." Cabinet will decide what to build and how to fund it in 2027.
