Germany Tells Apple to Play Fair With App Tracking Permission Pop-Ups

Germany's antitrust regulator ruled that Apple's permission pop-ups for ad tracking treat Apple's own apps better than rival apps. Apple must make the pop-ups neutral in wording, design, and layout, stop making third-party prompts look unappealing, and comply within four months. An independent monitor will oversee compliance for seven years.
