Indiana flooding reaches levels not seen since 1913

More than 11 inches of rain fell across Indiana starting 11 August, pushing the White River higher than it has been since the Great Flood of 1913. Anderson saw its highest water level on record. At least seven people died. Indianapolis floodwaters peaked 17 August, and the National Weather Service warns more sudden flooding is still possible.
