Trump aide impersonation scam reaches Greater Manchester

Someone pretending to be Donald Trump's chief of staff, Susie Wiles, messaged Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, Politico reported. Burnham sent only a few unimportant replies before reporting it. The FBI has been investigating the hacking of Wiles' phone since May 2025. The same trick has previously targeted American politicians and business leaders.
