An Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo — a deadly disease that causes severe bleeding — has killed 2,325 people out of 4,945 confirmed cases, making it the country's deadliest ever. It began in May in Ituri province, spread to six provinces, and the World Health Organization called its spread "exceptional."
