Advisory group says make aged care cheaper for more people

A group advising the government wants aged care better funded and wants to lower the savings cutoff — the point where you have too much money and must pay more for your own care. The report also covers home ownership and retiree income. Associate Health Minister Casey Costello called it politically tricky. The government has not yet responded.
