Luxon wins vote to stay as PM, challenger leaves politics

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon won a vote among his fellow MPs to stay as leader — his second such vote in four months. He told RNZ he did not know the tally and would not share it. The MP who tried to replace him, Chris Penk, lost his government roles, resigned, and will not run again. Luxon called the matter "resolved."
