Democrats Pick South Carolina to Kick Off 2028 Presidential Voting; Iowa Left Out

The Democratic Party voted August 15 on the order states will hold their 2028 presidential nominating contests. South Carolina goes first, on January 22. Iowa, which voted first for decades, is out of the early group entirely. Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Michigan and Virginia complete the early lineup, the Associated Press reported.
