Family of Cambridge Professor Jason Arday Says Ongoing Abuse Led to His Death

Jason Arday, a 41-year-old Cambridge professor, was found unresponsive in Battersea on 14 August 2026. He had resigned a week earlier after being accused of plagiarism — copying someone else's work — which he denied. His family, through his publisher, said a "campaign of sustained abuse" and false claims "was too much for Jason." Police have not said how he died.
