Apple Proposes Lower Fees for App Purchases Made Outside Its Store

Apple filed a fee plan with a U.S. court on August 14, 2026: 15% for standard apps, 5% for small developers, 10% for partner programs and subscription renewals. The 15% standard rate is nearly half the 27% cut that led a judge to find Apple in contempt in April 2025, in the Epic Games case.
