Sudan's rival force attacks five cities in two days
On 12–13 August 2026, a Sudanese paramilitary group called the RSF attacked five army-held cities with drones, sent 250 vehicles to assault a town in North Kordofan, and advanced on Kurmuk, a key border town near Ethiopia.
