Rivian Starts Delivering Its New, More Affordable Electric SUV

Rivian began delivering its new R2 electric SUV to customers on June 9, 2026. The five-seat vehicle starts at $44,990; a version that travels 275 miles per charge costs $53,990. Rivian also updated its older R1 models for 2027, adding new seating, renamed versions, and a larger battery option.
