Luxon wins vote to stay on as National leader and prime minister

National MPs held a snap meeting on Wednesday to vote on whether Christopher Luxon should stay on as party leader and prime minister. He won. Luxon sacked his challenger, Chris Penk, from all front-bench roles. Penk will leave Parliament at the election, due in November. No one else has put their hand up to challenge, but one commentator says the issue isn't settled.
