Amazon Is Shutting Down Its Only In-House Online Game

Amazon will take its only self-made online game, New World: Aeternum, offline on January 31, 2027, with no replacement planned. Two games Amazon had published from outside studios are going back to those creators. The decision finishes Amazon's exit, begun in October 2025, from making big-budget video games of its own.
