Prime Minister sacks minister who tried to take his job

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has sacked Chris Penk from all his government roles — Defence, Veterans, Space, GCSB and NZSIS — after Penk tried to replace Luxon as leader. National MPs then voted on whether to keep Luxon. Luxon said Penk could no longer stay in his roles. Paul Goldsmith has taken over all five.
