Luxon keeps his job as National leader, but almost half his MPs voted against him

Christopher Luxon survived a second vote among his own National Party MPs on whether he should stay on as leader. The vote was roughly 27-22 in his favour, several MPs told the New Zealand Herald. Nearly half voted against him four months before the November 7 election. He told reporters he had "the full support of a united caucus" and left without taking questions.
