Fake eclipse glasses sold online as UK shops run out before 12 August event

UK shops have sold out of safe eclipse glasses before the 12 August partial eclipse. The Independent says fakes with fake safety marks are being sold online. The UK's health agency warned about unverified sellers in July. Looking at the Sun without glasses that properly block its dangerous light can permanently damage your eyes.
