Science Corporation wins EU approval for PRIMA retinal implant, first BCI to restore reading vision

Science Corporation received CE mark approval to sell PRIMA, a retinal implant that restores form vision — including reading letters and words — to patients blinded by late-stage age-related macular degeneration. First commercial procedure in Europe could occur as early as September 2026.
