Blomkamp Releases "Nightborne," a Short Film Where Every Shot Is AI-Generated

Director Neill Blomkamp released "Nightborne," a 13-minute sci-fi horror short where every shot was produced using ByteDance's Seedance 2.0 text-to-video generator. The film, loosely based on Peter Watts' "Echopraxia," is the first release from Barley Studios, Blomkamp's new AI production company. Blomkamp says he intends to produce a full feature film in this format.
