AI-Generated Music Now Exceeds 50% of Daily Uploads to Deezer

Deezer reported on July 21, 2026 that AI-generated music accounts for more than half of all daily uploads, up from 10% in January 2025. Daily AI uploads peaked at 90,000 tracks per day in June 2026. CEO Alexis Lanternier said Deezer is taking additional steps to safeguard the rights of artists and songwriters, including removing unstreamed or fraudulent AI tracks.
