Tom Phillips inquiry report received — but left Family Court decisions out of scope and held no public hearings

The Government has received Justice Simon Moore KC's final report into the Tom Phillips case. The inquiry examined whether government agencies took all practicable steps to protect Phillips' children, but its terms excluded findings on judicial decisions, and it held no public hearings. Attorney-General Chris Bishop aims to release a redacted version by mid-August. The report was due by 21 July.
