Canyon has relaunched its Spectral:ON and Torque:ON electric mountain bikes with an 800Wh Darfon battery that weighs 150 grams less than the previous 900Wh pack—a gain in efficiency that addresses a core adoption barrier in e-mountainbiking. Modern 21700 cell density and aluminum housing enable the weight reduction despite lower capacity. The new packs pair with Shimano's EP801 motor and carry two-year warranties, positioning Canyon to compete in the premium segment where total system weight directly affects handling and rider fatigue.
