Charles Perrottet's 'money train' message to ICAC: $50K monthly retainers to bypass developer donation ban

ICAC heard a February 2020 message from Charles Perrottet — brother of former NSW premier Dominic Perrottet — calling a rival Liberal faction's $50,000-per-month retainer scheme "the money train" to bypass laws banning developer donations. Counsel assisting Peggy Dwyer SC suggested he wanted to replicate it for his own faction. Perrottet denied this.
