
Beijing robot's 2.88-metre high jump clears human world record at Humanoid Robot Games
Beijing's Tiangong Ultra robot jumped 2.8843 metres in the standing high jump at the second World Humanoid Robot Games on August 22, 2026, surpassing the human world record. The mark tripled the previous year's winning jump of 95.641 centimetres. The Games drew 666 teams from 16 countries and 2,056 robots across 51 events over five days.
