Tesla Discontinues Solar Roof, Scrubs Product from Website

Tesla has discontinued its Solar Roof, removing the product from its website and redirecting all Solar Roof and support pages to a generic solar landing page. Electrek first reported the disappearance on August 20, 2026; TechCrunch confirmed it the next day. Introduced around October 2016, the Solar Roof never approached its 1,000-installations-per-week target, reaching only 20–40 per week by 2022. Two installers still offer it from remaining inventory.
