Eight Injured, Five Missing After Fire Destroys Building in Swiss Alpine Town of Thusis

A fire that began on the second floor of a mixed-use building housing a restaurant and apartments in Thusis, Switzerland, injured eight people and left five missing. The stairwell collapsed, cutting off internal access and forcing nearly 100 firefighters to breach the roof with a crane.
