Coroner rules disability campaigner Claire Lomas died accidentally in microlight crash while filming for Apple Vision Pro

Claire Lomas, paralysed from the waist down since 2007 and the first person to complete the London Marathon in a bionic suit, was piloting an adapted microlight in Amman, Jordan, filming an Apple Vision Pro promotional video in July 2024. The aircraft veered off a runway during an aborted landing and struck rocks. A UK coroner ruled her death accidental. She died five weeks later, aged 44.
