HoverAir Certified Its New Drone-Camera by Submitting Only the Camera Module to the FCC

HoverAir's Aqua drone was blocked by the FCC's December 2025 foreign-drone ban. The Versa takes a different path: the FCC certified only the camera module on August 9, since it contains the radio. The FCC's own FAQ calls cameras a "UAS critical component" under the Covered List. The agency has not yet ruled on the approach.
