Peer-Reviewed Study Flags 853 Papers for Ethics Violations Across Three Decades at Raoult's IHU Marseille
A peer-reviewed investigation has identified "substantial" ethical and legal concerns across 853 articles published from 1994 to 2024 by Didier Raoult's Institut Hospitalo-Universitaire Méditerranée Infection in Marseille. Raoult co-authored 758 of the flagged papers. The findings include repeated reuse of ethics approvals, violating French and European clinical research law. French prosecutors previously opened a criminal investigation into the institute.
