Framework Makes Fedora the Default OS on Laptop 12 After 80% of Buyers Ran Linux

Framework now ships the refreshed Laptop 12 with Fedora Linux pre-installed as the default operating system. The shift follows data showing over 80 percent of original Laptop 12 owners run Linux. Windows 11 remains available as a $100 upgrade. Pre-built Linux configurations start at $699; a DIY edition starts at $549. Shipments begin in October.
