Framework's Laptop 12 Now Comes with Linux Built In

Framework now ships its refreshed Laptop 12 with Fedora Linux pre-installed as the default operating system — the software that runs the computer. The move follows data showing over 80 percent of original buyers ran Linux. Windows 11 remains available as a $100 upgrade. Pre-built Linux models start at $699; a DIY edition starts at $549. Shipments begin in October.
