Ofwat approves extra £3.4bn for water companies, pushing bills higher

Ofwat approved £3.4 billion in extra water-company spending for England and Wales, topping up the £104 billion agreed in late 2024 to £107.4 billion — near the £108 billion the industry originally sought.
